Onsimulation connects to your Onshape account to access geometry (Parts and Assemblies) that you have created on the full-cloud CAD system. It directly uses the CAD model and a background mesh to perform immersed boundary Finite Element Analysis (FEA), avoiding mesh generation difficulties.
Mesh Independent FEA
Onsimulation uses an immersed boundary approach for finite element analysis where the geometry (CAD model) is immersed in a background mesh. The background mesh generation is fully automated even for complex geometries and assemblies. There is no need for de-featuring or simplifying the geometry.

Subscription is needed only for working with private documents. The app can be subscribed from the App store on Onshape site.
